ICFRC Informational Session Tomorrow 

This Friday (08/27), make sure to attend our information session on zoom from 4-5 PM to learn about how to get involved with the Iowa City Foreign Relations Council!  The ICFRC is a local non-profit community organization that seeks to promote understanding of international issues by hosting community forums with expert speakers from around the world, bringing people together who are interested in learning, connecting, and engaging with international issues. Honors students eat for free at in-person ICFRC events!  

BHC Honors Space Tours

Come get acquainted with the Blank Honors Center and our Outreach Ambassadors! Tours take place on Thursday, August 26 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm & from 2pm to 4PM and on Friday, August 27 from 10am to 12pm & from 2:30pm to 4:30pm. Feel free to stop by during any of these times to get a tour of our amazing space! You will meet in the Atrium of the BHC (a.k.a. the main floor). Masks are encouraged. 

Financial Success Week

We will be hosting our very first theme week of the fall semester NEXT WEEK (August 30th- September 3rd)! The topic of our very first Theme Week is Student Financial Success. We hope to provide information to students on how to fund involvements such as research, how to manage money and student loans, and how to start financial planning. Join us next Wednesday, September 1st for the Girl Goals financial workshop via Zoom from 12-1 p.m. You don't want to miss this!

Honors Coursework

Still need your 12 semester hours of honors coursework? You will need to complete this by the end of your fourth semester in the Honors Program. Sunday August 29th is the cut off for course registration changes without a form! Keep in mind you can also complete an honors contract to convert a standard course into an "H" on your transcript.
