From December 6th – 10th, Honors will highlight and host events from University Counseling Services, study tips for finals, and mental health in high ability students. The Honors Scholarship application is now open! To access the online universal application, visit the Iowa Scholarship Portal and click HERE to learn more about the Honors scholarships. 2021 Hamod Scholarship Recipient

Jack Lauer

The 2021 Kay Keeshan Hamod Scholarship applauds a history major for designing a distinguished Honors Thesis or Project. This year's recipient is Jack Lauer, a senior from Pleasantville, Iowa double majoring in History and Gender, Women’s & Sexuality Studies with minors in Political Science and International Relations who is also undergraduate student body Vice President for the Undergraduate Student Government, a Resident Assistant in Daum Hall, and a volunteer for the LGBTQ Iowa Archives & Library.
