Anne Frank's Story in Iowa 

Join the ICFRC tomorrow, February 25th at 12 PM on Zoom to learn about the upcoming UI Provost’s Global Forum on “Teaching Anne Frank,” the Anne Frank tree planting ceremony, and the exhibit! This forum brings together a multi-disciplinary panel of experts from Iowa and across Europe between February 28 - March 2, 2022, to highlight the educational value and continuing relevance of Anne Frank's story. Apply to Graduate

Planning to graduate this semester? Make sure you apply to graduate HERE by tomorrow, Feb. 25th to avoid late fees! University Honors does not show up as a degree checkbox, but you will be automatically considered for honors! 

Writing Fellows Info Session Next Week 

Do you enjoy writing in your academic courses or exchanging writing with your peers? If so, think about becoming an Honors Writing Fellow. Fellows are assigned to courses across the disciplines where they help students with drafts of major assignments. If you're interested in learning more, an info session will be held tomorrow, Feb. 25th in the Writing Center, 110 EPB, from 4:00-5:00 PM.  

Need 12 S.H. of Honors Coursework?

Still need 12 s.h. of honors coursework? Is your fourth semester in Honors approaching? Then completing an honors coursework project may be for you! The deadline to submit is tomorrow, Feb. 25th. Any course taught at UI can be converted to honors credit via a contract. For more info click HERE. 

Honors Mentoring and Teaching Award 

Each year, the Honors Program selects a University of Iowa Honors Instructor for a Mentoring Award and a Teaching Award. You may nominate one instructor for each award. All honors students are invited to nominate an honors instructor for one or both awards through Monday, April 4th at 5 PM CT. Click HERE to nominate! 

President's Leadership Class 

PLC is a three-hour, credit-bearing course that meets Mondays and Wednesdays from 2-3:15pm in fall 2022. This second-year experience gives you an inside look at the university, focuses on developing your student leadership through team and campus projects. Applications are open HERE from Monday February 21 – Tuesday March 22 to current first year students. Interested students can attend the information session online on Wednesday, March 2, Noon-1 p.m. (CST) via Zoom. Click HERE to find out more!

Discover Internships: UIHC Library Assistant

During her undergraduate years, Logan was unsure of the post-graduate path she wanted to follow. After pursuing an interdepartmental studies major (health sciences track) and a minor in business administration, it was possible to fulfill the requirements for many graduate programs. Her studies and experiences made it difficult for her to even choose between business or healthcare, but this internship helped her find her passion in healthcare!
