President’s Leadership Class Applications are Open!
The President’s Leadership Class (PLC) is taught by the UI President and allows students to engage in self and group development, while also having an experiential learning component through group projects. Applications are open for Fall 2021 to current first-year students! Learn more and apply online by Monday, April 5 at noon.

The Academic Advising Center is accepting workshop leaders in introductory chemistry, psychology, sociology classes and in Media Uses and Effects, Media History and Contemporary Environmental Issues. Juniors & Seniors! Become a Peer Mentor for Life Design
Become a peer mentor for the Life Design class taught by Professor Dave Gould for Fall 2021. The class is typically taught to thoughtful freshman and sophomore students looking for direction. By becoming a peer mentor, you’ll receive the wonderful chance to get to know these students, do some reflective learning and mentoring, and even get a chance to design your own mentoring opportunities for the Iowa City community. How Experiential Learning Prepares Students for Graduate School
Peer Mentor Laura Widman and Honors Ambassador Klaudia Golebiewski will share how experiential learning opportunities helped them prepare for grad school application process and figure out what they wanted to do for grad school. They will also talk about resources available through Honors. The session will be on Monday, March 22 at 1.30 PM via Zoom.

Getting Involved on Campus
Come join us to learn about all the cool ways to get involved on campus! You'll hear about what some Honors Ambassadors are involved in, how to get your name out there and ways to manage your time. The session will be on Wednesday, March 24 from 6 PM -7 PM via Zoom.

How to Defeat Imposter Syndrome
Join University Counseling Services and the Honors Program as they connect with honors students in a discussion about combating Imposter Syndrome. Learn about ways to deal with imposter syndrome especially while taking classes and working on projects during the pandemic. The zoom event will be on Tuesday, March 23 from 12 PM to 1 PM.
