Veteran and Military-Connected (VMC) students,
We hope this message finds you safe and well, and that your semester is going smoothly. This email is to inform you that the Iowa Veteran, Education, Transition, and Support (IVETS) computer lab and lounge space will, unfortunately, remain closed for the remainder of the fall 2020 semester due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Beginning Monday, September 14, 2020, we resume offering VMC students free printing. We understand the importance of this service and want to ensure you have continued access.
To take advantage of free printing, email a PDF or Microsoft Office document to UI-IVETS@uiowa.edu. Staff will print files on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Documents will be placed in an envelope with your name on it, and left in the IVETS benefits office, 2706 UCC, for pick-up. You will receive an email when your request is ready to pick up. Please limit the print job to 20 pages or less.
Please keep in mind that IVETS staff will see your document while it is printing. You should not consider this service confidential. We advise against sending any highly private or confidential documents with personal information.
