Longtime UI staffer helps hurricane victims recover from storm

George McCrory has worked for the University of Iowa for more than two decades. In addition to his work for the university, he also volunteers for the American Red Cross and has raised his hand repeatedly to help following devastating natural disasters, including Hurricane Ian, which wreaked havoc on Florida in September.  Read more.

Infuse Gratitude in Work and Life

Holistic Well-Being and Success is one of the major parts of the University of Iowa strategic plan. Joni Troester, Senior Assistant Vice President and Deputy Chief Human Resources Officer, is a member of the university Well-Being and Mental Health Campus Collaborative which is a structured, coordinated effort to substantively improve the health and well-being of all members of the University of Iowa community.
