Staff Council Nominations Are Open!

Do you or someone you know want to make a difference at the University of Iowa? Are you looking for ways to improve your workplace? Do you have concerns about an issue on campus? Are you a person who likes to promote positive change? Then it's time to consider nominating yourself or one of your colleagues for UI Staff Council and help us represent the over 8100 non-bargaining staff at the University of Iowa. You may nominate a staff member by submitting the nomination form.

Congratulations, Dancers!

On behalf of the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital, we would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to everyone who participated in Dance Marathon 29. This year's event was a resounding success, raising a total of $1,174,008.29 in support of the children and their families who are undergoing treatment at our hospital. Read more. 

Campus safety services to be realigned as an organization

The University of Iowa is in the process of realigning all campus safety services into a single organization—the  Office of Campus Safety—to improve collaboration and communication across the institution and clarify what services the organization offers. Effective Jan. 1, 2023, HealthEquity took over the administration and claim processing for eligible 2023 health care and dependent care expenses. Read more.
