UPDATE: Please uses "ASL interpreter name" in place of their name in your script. We will update you all and Nick's team with interpreter names before the week of ceremonies.
Please send a copy of your script to the following emails no later than Wednesday, April 26. Scripts do not need to be verbatim, but should include proper spelling of names and proper nouns, along with any vocabulary that may be specific to your ceremony. This will help support closed captioning, ASL interpretation, and create a better experience for the students and those attending or viewing the ceremonies.
Photo Slide Approval Deadline-April 30
- Use the photo approval tool to approve slide photos
- Photo slides will not be used at the in-person ceremonies
Platform Maps-May 8
- Platform maps for all Carver-Hawkeye Arena ceremonies should be sent to ui-commencement@uiowa.edu no later than Monday, May 8.
Security Lists-May 10
- Security lists for all Carver-Hawkeye Arena ceremonies should be sent to ui-commencement@uiowa.edu no later than Wednesday, May 10.
Order of Events
- There is no specific deadline, but please submit a copy of your Order of Events to ui-commencement@uiowa.edu and if you print copies, please send two printed copies to Kristan Hellige at 2700 UCC for University Archives.

Name cards have been ordered and will be delivered to the colleges as soon as possible. If students applied for degree by April 19, you will have their name card. If they did not, they will need to fill out a card at the ceremony.
Programs
Please save unused/undamaged programs for the next ceremony. We are doing our best to more accurately print the number of programs needed to reduce waste. We appreciate your support in making this possible! | | | Livestreams + Additional Events | Ceremony Livestreams

JoePhoto will be available to take complimentary professional photos of graduates and their families. Free cookies and alumni swag will be available at the UI Center for Advancement tent.
Kinnick Stadium
Saturday, May 13, 2:30 to 4 p.m.
Eligible students will receive an email from Marching Order in early April with registration information. This event celebrates the accomplishments of fall 2022, spring 2023, summer 2023 graduates and recent REACH Program Completion Students.
