Below you will find a recap of the important deadlines shared in the meeting, in addition to a recording of the meeting. We have also included a request for information that is due by next Friday, Oct. 7.

Information Request and Website Review

As a reminder, we encourage you to review the information for your college on the Commencement website, including ceremony information and collegiate contact information.

We would also like to request the following information from you all by next Friday, Oct. 7. This information (minus the quintet question) will be shared with MarchingOrder, as well as the photographers from Flash Photography. Please send your completed information to ui-commencement@uiowa.edu.

• Location
• Coordinator name(s)
• Graduates expected
• Number of lines (single or double)
• Has the flow changed from previous ceremonies?
• Are you planning to use the quintet to play music at your ceremony?

RSVP and Ceremony Data

RSVP and other deadlines are set based on when information needs to be submitted to MarchingOrder.

Reminders and Updates for Fall 2022

• We will not be adding any late RSVPs in MAUI after the deadline. Emails from students (except for CLAS) will be forwarded to coordinators for response. You can allow students to attend without an RSVP, this is up to the discretion of the college.
• If students applied for degree by Nov. 22, you will have their name card. If they did not, they will fill out a card at the ceremony.
• Cards will be sorted by the order you provide to us, with attending in on grouping and degree applicants in another.
• We understand some ceremonies have information that is not collected within the RSVP, but needs to be collected. Please ensure that students understand the RSVP is required. We appreciate your partnership in asking them to RSVP and asking them for the information you need.

Faculty Regalia Order Deadline

The order deadline for faculty regalia will be Wednesday, Oct. 26. Additional information will be coming soon via email from the Iowa Hawk Shop and University Bookstore.

Program Deadline

We will pull information from MAUI at the end of the day on Monday, Nov. 14 for the commencement program.
