Imposter Syndrome: Addressing the Fear of Being a Fraud

We all engage in “impostering” or believing we are not good, not deserving enough, or not producing enough in our lives at the university. 

This workshop assists you with learning:
*The definitions of Imposter Syndrome.
*What steps you can take to partially undo Imposter Syndrome.
*The systems that contribute to creating Imposter Syndrome.

You are never alone! There are partners to support you in finding campus mental health and well-being resources.

Enrollment Management Fall Feast

Tuesday, Nov. 26, noon–1:30 p.m.
Old Brick, 26 E Market St, Iowa City

The annual Enrollment Management Fall Feast is taking place on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at Old Brick. This informal gathering is an opportunity to gather and mingle. A selection of campus partners are also invited to attend, including the athletic director and President Wilson.

Hy-Vee will be serving turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, dressing, dinner rolls, and butter. After the feast, any leftovers will be donated to Agape Cafe. Office of the Registrar staff are encouraged to bring sides to share.

In addition, Enrollment Management is hosting a food drive. You may bring items to the Fall Feast for donations. Learn more about the Food Pantry at Iowa. Additionally, you can see lists of items requested.

Clothing Closet Winter Coat Drive

Spread the warmth by donating winter gear to help fellow Hawkeyes stay cozy!

The Clothing Closet Winter Coat Drive is taking place throughout the month of November.

Donation drop-off locations include:

Holiday Grief Group - Facing the Holidays While Grieving

Holidays can be a difficult time for people who have experienced the death of a loved one. Join Employee Assistance Program clinicians for a group about grieving around the holidays. They will explore how to cope, honor the person who has passed, and develop new rituals and traditions.

Big Ten Blood Donation Competition

Abbott is partnering with the Big Ten Conference and its 18-member university athletic departments to boost the U.S. blood supply through a blood donation competition. It will put rivalry and school spirit to the test as all of the schools compete to see who can donate the most blood, positively impacting lives across the country.

The We Give Blood Drive initiative is designed to motivate Big Ten students, alumni, and fans to donate blood by tapping into school pride and devotion to their teams.

Every donation scores one point for your school on the leaderboard. Donate by Dec. 6 and upload your proof of donation for your donation to be counted.
