The Wenner-Gren Foundation is offering grants to support anthropological conferences.

This grant program supports conferences and events that foster inclusive communities within the field of anthropology and promote groundbreaking, forward-thinking research. They fund gatherings for broad anthropological audiences, with an emphasis on scholarly meetings that convene members of major international anthropological organizations. Applications are due on June 1 and December 1.

New Limited Submission Opportunities

Mary Kay Ash Foundation: Innovative/Translational Cancer Research Grant Program 2026

Description: The Mary Kay Ash Foundation is a non-profit public foundation, which focuses on funding research for innovative grants for translational research of cancers affecting women (ovarian, uterine, breast, endometrial or cervical cancer among others). Translational research is broadly defined as research that will provide a scientific link between laboratory research and the clinic. Such research would lead to improvement in diagnosis, prognosis, prevention, or treatment of the cancer.
Limitation: one application per institution

NSF: EPSCoR Graduate Fellowship Program (EGFP)

Description: The NSF EPSCoR Graduate Fellowship Program (EGFP) provides an opportunity for applicants who received the distinction of GRFP Honorable Mention no more than three years before the proposal due date to be named NSF EPSCoR Graduate Fellows and obtain financial support for their graduate education at an institution in an EPSCoR jurisdiction. EGFP aims to enhance the capacity and competitiveness of EPSCoR jurisdictions by providing funding to graduate degree-awarding institutions to support NSF EPSCoR Graduate Fellows as they pursue graduate degrees in the disciplines specified by the NSF Directorates and Office that are participating in the EGFP funding program.
