OTLT staff present at conference

At Instructurecon 2024, OTLT staff took part in and moderated a panel on Canvas Catalog. Locally known as UI Learn, Canvas Catalog is an online portal for non-credit courses available to both the public and the University of Iowa community. Instructurecon is an annual conference organized by Instructure, the company that creates Canvas.

Course Accessibility for Everyone (CAFE): Documents and files

Join us on Friday, Nov. 8, from 10 to 11 a.m. to learn some basics to help make your ICON course site accessible. This session will focus on ensuring the documents and files in your site are usable by all your students. We'll talk about why and how to make sure your PDFs are navigable and can be read by screen reading programs, as well as other document types as necessary.
