Summer 2022 subsession and off cycle course prerequisite checking:
- 4 week and 6 week I: prerequisites not enforced
- 12 week, 8 week, and 6 week II: students not meeting prerequisite are notified a week prior to the drop date so they still have time to submit proof and prevent getting dropped from the course.
- Student dropped for lack of prerequisite:
- 12 week subsession:
- Prerequisite status of Conditional-Proof Requisite status- dropped very early in the hours of May 11, 2022.
- In Progress UI Coursework: dropped very early in the morning of May 19th (after the UI final spring grade run)
- 8 week and 6 week II: Dropped 3 business days before the subsession begins
- 8 week: June 8, 2022
- 6 week II: June 22, 2022
- Off cycle: Dropped 3 business days prior to the begin date of the course
Prior to the prerequisite drop process:
- Please review all submitted Proof of Completion forms and take the appropriate action.
- If approving satisfactory completion without the form, update the prerequisite permission to either Permanent, Met, or Met-Proof Provided via Offerings Planner or via the student's special permission panel.
Please keep in mind once the prerequisite drop process runs, students should not be given Conditional – Proof Required prerequisite permission as the process runs nightly. The student would then be dropped the following day with this type of permission.
