Happy August! We are excited you’ll be participating in Primetime coming up on Monday, August 16th through Thursday, August 19th! Keep in mind, early move-in begins on Sunday, August 15th. All questions regarding Housing must go through the housing team. Let’s dive into some important details!
1. Primetime Overview: All Primetime workshops this year will be face-to-face. For more information on the University of Iowa's response to COVID-19 please click here. You’ll spend the three days in your workshop getting to know your peers and exploring your seminar’s topic. Then, on Thursday, you’ll be able to review videos from your peers for our virtual symposium to see what everyone learned and reflect upon your experience. If you need additional support, please reach out to our team.
2. ICON Primetime Site: There is an Honors Primetime ICON page you have been added to here that will be published for your viewing Wednesday, August 11th. In the upper right hand corner be sure to select “Fall 2021” so you can click on the Honors Primetime page. You’ll find modules with the Primetime schedule, a sign-up form for social activities, & resources. So take a look and also get to know some of the Honors staff by reviewing videos in the modules. We also want to get to know you and encourage you to respond to discussion posts and get involved. Please note, you’re individual Primetime section may be utilizing their own ICON page, which is separate from the Honors Primetime ICON site. Your section page will be specific to your instructor and group of peers.
3. Meal Tickets for Off Campus Students: Students who are living off campus can stop by the front desk to pick up their meal tickets starting Monday, August 16th at 8 AM. Lunch tickets will be provided for Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday.
