Write Winning Grant Proposals Seminar and Workshop

The RDO is pleased to announce that Dr. John Robertson from Grant Writer's Seminars & Workshops (GWSW) will conduct the Write Winning Grant Proposals seminar on Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 8:30am-4:30pm at the IMU Second Floor Ballroom.

The Phase I seminar is a pre-requisite to the Phase II workshop scheduled for Thursday, January 12 and Friday, January 13, 2023. Faculty must contact their collegiate associate dean for research no later than Monday, August 29 with their interest in attending the Phase II workshop.

Registration Fee is $150 (includes seminar, workbook, supplemental materials, and lunch for in person participants). A limited number of college specific sponsored registrations complimentary to faculty are available on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Register here by Sunday, September 18. In person and virtual options are available.

SAVE THE DATE: Virtual Planning and Writing Successful Proposals in the Arts and Humanities Seminar

AtKisson Training Group will conduct a half-day virtual seminar, Planning and Writing Successful Proposals in the Arts and Humanities, that will be held on Friday, September 30 from 9am-1pm.

SAVE THE DATE: 2022 UI Research Services Fair

The Research Services Fair (RSF) is a vendor-style fair that provides an opportunity for researchers and staff to learn about campus resources and services available for their research and scholarship activities.  This year’s RSF will be hosted at Hancher Auditorium on Thursday, October 20 from 1pm-4:30pm and will host over 50 campus units.

Networking Surveys

Networking surveys create a directory to help identify potential collaborators for your ideas and projects. There are currently eight topics represented: 1) human-technology interface, 2) artificial intelligence/machine learning, 3) e-cigarettes/vaping, 4) global health, 5) mental health, 6) opioids, 7) COVID-19, 8) microfabrication/nanofabrication, 9) aging health, and 10) climate change/sustainability.
