| | | On June 22, 2023 from 11am-12pm, the RDO will host a Zoom information session focused on NSF's MRI Program. During the session, the RDO will give an overview of the program, highlight recent restrictions on subawardees, hear from a previous MRI awardee, and allow time for questions. Please note the rules have changed for this long-running NSF program. We encourage researchers interested in applying in the Fall cycle of the program to attend the session.

Registration fee is $150 (includes seminar, workbook, supplemental materials, and lunch). Each college sponsors a certain number of faculty spots on a first come, first served basis.

Additional information about the seminar can be found on the webpage here. | | | | Climate Change and Health Solutions seeks to leverage the entrepreneurial spirit of the University of Iowa community to develop innovations that reduce the health effects of climate change. This challenge is open to individuals or teams composed of undergraduate and graduate students, staff, and/or faculty. Applicants are invited to submit two-page proposals describing the problem they seek to address and their potential solution. Following an expert review process, up to four proposals will be awarded $10,000 each to put their ideas into action.

While developing the template, valuable input was received from UI faculty members who have written and/or reviewed successful NSF CAREER proposals.
This template along with other available templates can be accessed on the SERCC website on the grant writing resources page here. The SERCC welcomes additional feedback to help continue to improve the template. | | | |
