This session will help you develop creative searching strategies to identify lesser-known sources of funding like family foundations that are especially suited to very specific or small-to-moderate sized projects.

Register here. | | | The purpose of this program is to promote innovative outreach and research efforts to prevent agricultural injury and illness, supporting both community-based organizations and academic researchers, especially new investigators, and trainees. Proposals addressing mental health, chemical safety, machine safety, and prevention of slips, trips, and falls are especially encouraged in the 2023-24 application cycle. However, any topic of relevance to the GPCAH mission and/or NIOSH priority goals for the Agriculture, Forestry, and Fishing industry sector is welcome.

See more information and how to apply here. | | | | The Community Engagement and Research Translation (CERT) fellowship funding will facilitate developing relationships and solving environmental health challenges in collaboration with audiences appropriate to the Fellow’s research, including community members, community-based organizations, clinicians, or others, to create new outputs of their research that are produced in collaboration with these stakeholders. Eligibility includes UI faculty of any track, postdoctoral researchers, and graduate students completing a mater or doctoral thesis.

This easy-to-use tool is designed for researchers and scholars to check their original works for any instances of potential plagiarism before the submission of manuscripts, dissertations, journal articles, grant proposals, and other forms of research and scholarly work. It is now available for free to the UI research community.
