Happy Monday!

Primetime registration is here! Honors Primetime is a three-and-a-half day workshop for incoming first-year honors students Monday, August 15th - Thursday, August 18th. Workshops are held on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday with a final symposium on Thursday. Workshops of about twenty-two students engage in hands-on learning with exceptional UI faculty and staff, and successful completion earns 1 semester hour of honors credit.

Interested in signing-up? We suggest doing so now since workshops are limited.

Here’s how to sign-up for a section:

1) Log-in to myui.uiowa.edu by clicking "Please login" at the top right of the page.

2) Scroll down to the Student Information section and find the "Course Browse/Registration" tile.

3) Make sure the session is listed as Fall 2022 and enter HONR in the Course Subject and 1100 in Course Number. Press the green "Search" button near the bottom of the page.

4) Find your preferred Primetime section that is not currently closed. Some sections offer more seats. 

5) Click "Enroll" on the far right side of your screen under the Enrollment column header. You will now be directed to a page to confirm your Primetime course selection. 

6) Register for your preferred section of HONR:1100 as soon as possible. Only register for one section. You will need to enter the special permission code of 929 in order to register. Enter the code in the center text box and click the bottom left green "Add" button to add the course to your Fall 2022 session. If your first selected section fills up, find another one that is available and of interest to you.

Once you are registered for your section of Primetime, we’ll be able to connect with you later this summer and provide you access to our Honors Primetime ICON course. This site will supply you with social events, schedules, and additional resources including our staff and how we can assist you.
