Registrations Change Authorization Enhancements

The Office of the Registrar has been working on enhancements related to adds, drops, and withdrawal registration changes in MAUI and MyUI. Registration changes can be made in MyUI starting the sixth business day of the session for full semester-length courses and the first day of the class for off-cycle courses. 

The enhancements will be available in MAUI and MyUI starting Wednesday, May 24. These updates are highlighted below.

New Deny Option

  • New deny option for add and drop registration changes
  • Those with permission to authorize can also deny
  • Once denied, no further actions can be taken by the administrator or student
  • Reason and contact information will be referenced in an email to the student immediately

Registration Contact Information

We now have a solution to point students to the appropriate departmental or instructor approver for registration changes! Departmental administrators can update their registration contact text field through the course subject look-up in MAUI. Learn how to update this field on the Online Add Process help page.

This information will be presented to the student when they initiate an online add request and later sent to them in an email.
