This funding opportunity is to support meritorious exploratory research relevant to the NHLBI mission using the biospecimen collections that are stored in the NHLBI Biorepository and that are available through BioLINCC.
The final due date for AIDS applications is December 10, 2024. Requests must be submitted to BioLINCC no later than November 19, 2024 in order to be eligible to receive a Letter of Availability by this due date. Early initiation of a request is encouraged as the actual time from submission to a letter varies depending upon the complexity of a search and/or the necessity to perform additional searches. Applicants should ensure they allow adequate time for a search to be performed and confirmed.
If you have submitted to a previous RFA-HL-23-018 application cycle and would like to resubmit, you must submit a new request to BioLINCC as above, no later than November 19, 2024, to obtain an updated letter. Due in part to the dynamic nature of the biospecimen inventory, any previously provided letter of biospecimen availability will not be valid for a resubmission. A new request and letter are required even if your proposed research has not changed.
