Happy September!

Welcome to all new and returning Hawkeyes! We are so glad you're here. This fall is gearing up to be a fun one, we are starting off strong with a Homecoming Open House featuring Dr. Bob Kirby. Then we have the Entering Research Symposium (formerly the Undergraduate Research Conference) and the First Year Seminar Poster Conference in October. We wrap things up November 19th with our Fall Undergraduate Research Festival, so mark your calendars to join us!

This year we are thrilled to be supporting not only our ICRU fellows, but we are running the GCRU fellowship again as well. Last year's pilot cohort had a lot of positive things to say about the experience of engaging 2-4 students on a collaborative project. We are also opening a poster fund this fall, which supports students in printing one conference poster while they are at Iowa. Thanks for your support of undergraduate research at Iowa!

Best,
Tawny Tibbits, Director

Join us on October 11th for the Exploring Research Symposium, a series of talks created by students for students, dedicated to providing research resources to interested undergraduates. More information below.
