Dear, Samantha,

We’re thrilled to invite you to celebrate a major milestone- the 25+ years of the partnership between the University of Iowa School of Social Work and Briar Cliff University as we continue to bring the MSW program to the Siouxland region.

Join us as we honor the history of the program, recognize the people who made it possible, strengthen our connection and look ahead to the ways social work can continue to improve communities in the region.

We will start the day with a free continuing education event featuring a panel of alumni and local leaders with breakout sessions that represent that great variety of work that you do. “The Challenges and Opportunities of Social Work In the Midst of Change: How do we provide ethical leadership in this time and place?”.

This will be followed by a time of connection and celebration. We will have plenty of good food and good company to share.

Come enjoy an evening of connection and celebration, where you can:

  • Reconnect with fellow alumni, faculty, and local partners
  • Catch up on where life and careers have taken our graduates and celebrate the difference you're all making
  • Learn what’s next for the Sioux City MSW program

Event Details:

Date: Friday, October 10th

Location: St. Francis Center on Briar Cliff University Campus

Times: CEU Event 1-4pm, Celebration 4-6pm

We would love to see you there and hear your stories from your time in the program. Your experiences and insights continue to shape the future of social work education and practice in Siouxland.
