Greetings from the Honors Program,

We hope your summer, so far, has been enjoyable and not merely productive.  We also hope that you’re taking needed time for self-care as well as personal exploration.

You are receiving this email because you have completed four semesters in the Honors Program. At this point in their Honors career, students are required to have completed 12 semester hours of honors coursework. Our records indicate that you have not met this requirement.

To remain an active member of Honors at Iowa, please have an advising meeting with one of our Professional Staff Members to develop a plan for success in Honors by July 29, 2022. A meeting can be set up via email or via MyUI appointments. If you elect not to have such a meeting, your membership in Honors will be terminated. You will be able to appeal to rejoin Honors following the same protocol as above.

If there are credits missing from your Honors degree audit, or an extenuating circumstance has occurred, please email honors-program@uiowa.edu
