Deadline to Submit Change Requests
Primary instructors and department administrators have until Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2026 to request changes using the Final Exam Assignment Change Request Form.
Instructors can access the form from their final exam schedule page in MAUI. Department administrators can access it through the “Final Exam Assignments” application in the Offerings Planner menu on MAUI.
Conflict Minimization and Availability of Resources
The Office of the Registrar has made every effort to meet instructors’ final exam assignment requests. However, some requests could not be granted due to excessive student conflicts or limited classroom availability.
We will accommodate new requests as resources and conflict minimization allow. Instructors should not announce final exam assignments until the official schedule is published, as all assignments are subject to change prior to this time.
Unneeded Exam Assignments
Instructors with unneeded final exam resources should release them for other faculty members' use. Please use the Final Exam Assignment Change Request Form to do so.
Late Requests
Requests made after the official schedule is published on Monday, Feb. 16, 2026, require written approval from the chair/DEO and the dean of the department. All requests must include curricular justification. Note that course sections granted final exam assignments after publication are responsible for administering make-up exams, regardless of exam precedence rules.
Official Schedules
The official spring 2026 final exam schedule will be published on the Office of the Registrar’s website on Monday, Feb. 16, 2026. Students can access their schedules via MyUI on this date. The schedules will include any identified student exam conflicts, if applicable.
