Celebration of Graduates at Kinnick
Students wanting to celebrate with their classmates and guests in Kinnick Stadium must register through Marching Order by May 1 at 11:55 p.m. Each student may reserve one ticket for themselves and will be allotted two tickets for guests. Electronic tickets will be emailed to students after the May 1 deadline.
All Spring 2021, Summer 2021, and recent REACH Program Completion students are eligible to participate. Eligible students should have received an email Monday, April 5th with instructions on how to register.
Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all University of Iowa-sponsored events. If you are a person with a disability who requires a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this program, please contact UI Celebration team in advance by email ui-celebration2021@uiowa.edu or call 319-335-3549.
We're starting to get an idea of how many people to expect, but final numbers won't be known until registration closes. Detailed information about seating and parking will be available when registration numbers are tabulated after the May 1 deadline.

UI Community Volunteer Opportunity
Are you a University of Iowa Faculty or Staff member interested in assisting with the distribution of commencement materials?
The Division of Student Life, Office of the President, and Office of the Registrar are hosting a weeklong Hawkeye Farewell on the UI Pentacrest, May 10-14, 2021. This event is an opportunity for graduates to celebrate their final days as students at the University of Iowa.
Spring 2021 degree applicants will receive their commencement materials during this time. We are in search of faculty and staff volunteers to assist with distribution processes.
This is an outdoor event and will adhere to UI COVID-19 mitigation strategies. Volunteers will swipe Iowa One cards (student ID cards) and hand out envelopes containing commencement materials.
Distribution will begin at 10:00 a.m. and conclude at 4:00 p.m. each day.
In the event of inclement weather, distribution will be relocated to 208 Calvin Hall. Volunteers may indicate their comfort level working indoors when registering. The number of individuals needed indoors will be less. If inclement weather is imminent, an adjusted schedule will be communicated the evening before, if possible.
Tents, water, masks, hand sanitizer, and disinfecting wipes will be available at all distribution stations. Distribution stations will be sanitized at shift changes.
If you are willing and comfortable, please register to volunteer here: https://uiowa.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9uTIBj8V0H9PURU
An immediate confirmation will not be sent after registration. More details and instructions will be sent to registered volunteers the week of May 3-7, 2021.
