Submit spring 2026 course revisions for subject acronym, course number, credit hours, cross-referenced course(s), and administrative home using a revise course form until June 24.
Changes to fall 2025 courses are limited now that Schedule Builder is open to avoid registration issues for our students.

Curriculum requirement changes made to the 2025–26 General Catalog will be sent to the degree audit team in catalog workflow to update degree audits over the next few months.

Registrar Exams, ITS, the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and the Division of Online Education have had several discussions regarding final exams to relieve space constraints for extended time accommodations. Beginning with fall 2025, the MAUI final exam needs submission tool will include an option for exam length: 60 minutes, 80 minutes, or 120 minutes. Instructors will be able to choose one of these three options for the length of their final exam. More information will be forthcoming at our March SASUG meeting.
Summer exam needs open April 16. If you have any questions or would like assistance in submitting final exam needs, please contact reg-exams@uiowa.edu.

The 2025–26 Catalog will be online by June 1.

In summer 2025, the catalog team plans to continue the online refresh by updating all photos to fit the new template better. We will follow up with additional information later this spring.

Update forms for sample plans that appear in the 2025–26 General Catalog must be submitted by March 28..
