Course Library
- Feb. 10, 2025 - MyUI course offerings are available in MyUI, and schedule builder open for fall 2025. Revisions to courses in MAUI Course Librarymust be submitted before this date.
- April 14, 2025 - Early registration begins for fall 2025. Departments should avoid revisions to courses with enrollment.

Degree Audit
- Curriculum requirement changes made to the 2025-26 General Catalog will be sent to the degree audit team in workflow to update degree audits over the next few months.

Exams

Registrar Exams, ITS, the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and the Division of Online Education have had several discussions regarding final exams to relieve space constraints for extended time accommodations. Beginning with fall 2025, the MAUI final exam needs submission tool will include an option for exam length: 60 minutes, 80 minutes, or 120 minutes. Instructors will be able to choose one of these three options for the length of their final exam. More information will be forthcoming at our March SASUG meeting.
General Catalog
- Pages for the 2025–25 General Catalog must be initiated by the catalog initiator in workflow by Friday, Jan. 17, 2025.
- Pages for the 2025–26 General Catalog must be approved by everyone in your workflow and returned to the registrar’s office no later than Monday, Feb. 3, 2025. Any questions can be directed to the catalog team at registrar-publications@uiowa.edu.
- Units will be able to review their updated pages at the proof stage.
- The 2025–26 Catalog will be online by June 1.

- In summer 2025, the catalog team plans to continue the refresh by updating all photos to better fit the new template. We will follow up with additional information this spring.
