Exam Deadlines

• The Spring 2020 final exam needs tool opens December 16 and runs through January 15.

Grades

• Midterm Class Lists are open from October 10- 24, 2019.
• Final Exam Grade Submission from December 11-27, 2019

General Catalog

• The 2020-21 General Catalog will be available for updates in late November. An email will be sent to all users with specific information before the Catalog opens. All copy will be due by February 7.

Offering Planner Deadlines

• October 29, 2019 - January 19, 2020 the Fall 2020 Course Offerings Planner are closed to editing. The Planner is always open for instructor, textbook, descriptions, requirements, recommendations, restrictions, registration information editing, updating waitlist plans, and updating syllabus information.
  • The Planner will reopen for the offerings review period from January 20 to February 2. Once the Planner reopens, you can submit any changes or new sections you did not submit for Fall 2020 before the Planner closed. This proof period will allow departments time to submit their offering prior to courses being viewable on MyUI on February 3.
  • Offerings Planner module in MAUI will remain open for sections in Planning status and courses requesting a non-UCR during the Planner closed period for classroom assignments. Users will need to wait until the Planner reopens to submit any sections requesting a UCR to workflow.

Textbook Deadlines

  • Winter/Spring 2019 Textbook Deadline - Early Registration 11/11/2019
  • Winter 2019 Textbook Deadline - 4 weeks prior to start of session is 12/02/2019
  • Spring 2019 Textbook Deadline - 4 weeks prior to start of session is 12/23/2019

Registration Deadlines

• Student's Winter 2019/Spring 2020 day/time assignments will be available Wednesday, October 23. The process of assigning times will begin on Monday, October 21 but it may take a few days for the process to complete. If you have any questions, please contact reg-maui-support@uiowa.edu.
• Early Registration is November 11-22, 2019.
  • Prerequisites are enforced during registration. More information is available on our website.
• Last day for undergraduates to drop without Dean's approval for Fall 2019 is November 18.
