This message is intended for all campus contacts that receive program of study (POS) memo updates via email from the Office of the Registrar.
At the request of the Tippie College of Business and with approval from the Office of the Provost, the Classification of Instructional Programs (CIP) code has been updated for the programs of study below, effective fall 2025. The CIP code has changed from 45.0601 (Economics, General) to 45.0603 (Econometrics and Quantitative Economics).
Please update your records accordingly.
