No Textbooks or Resources Reported for Summer 2023

The following email is being sent to all academic departmental administrators (ADA) listed in each department. Please disregard this email if you are listed as an ADA, but don't serve in a role that works with textbooks or resources. Some departments utilize administrative staff to collect and place textbook orders for instructors. Others ask instructors to place their own orders. Those decisions continue to be made by the department.

You are receiving this email because the following summer 2023 course(s) do not have textbooks and/or resources present in MAUI:

ABCD:1234:XYZ1

A similar email is being sent to the primary instructor of the course(s) above on Thursday, Feb. 9.

Contact the Iowa Hawk Shop and University Bookstore if you or the instructor placed textbook and/or resource orders before today for one or more of the courses listed above. Contact information is listed below.

The Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA) requires that book titles, ISBNs, and prices of required and recommended books and other materials for any course are included on the institution's electronic schedule of courses in time for student registration.

As a reminder, textbook orders are not replicated and thus require a new order to be placed each semester.
