Come to the FURF!

Come to the Fall Undergraduate Research Festival (FURF), Wednesday, November 8, 4-6 p.m., on the second level of the University Capitol Centre. It's a great opportunity to learn more about undergraduate research at Iowa and support your fellow history students!

Have you considered pursuing an independent research project, or Honors in the major? The FURF is a look into the research that our current students are finishing up this fall. You'll see a wide range of topics explored! Current topics range from undergarments and cookies to natural disasters and horror movies. Check out the full list of presenters from across the university. You can speak to presenters about their experiences doing research and enjoy free popcorn from the Office of Undergraduate Research.
