Department Inactivated and Course Subject Moved

This message is intended for all campus contacts that receive program of study (POS) memo updates via email from the Office of the Registrar.

At the request of Tippie Professional Programs and with approval from the Office of the Provost, the following actions have been taken in MAUI. 

• The MBA course subject has been moved to the Iowa MBA Program department (formerly known as Professional MBA Program).
• The MBA Program department, previously associated with the MBA full-time program, has been inactivated. There are no active programs of study or courses offered by this department.

Division and Program Name Changes

As indicated in a memo sent on Feb. 1, the following updates went live in MAUI on May 13.

• The Graduate Management Programs (GMP) division is now Tippie Professional Programs (TPP). The widely used college code remains 'S'. 
• The MBA Professional Program department and programs of study have been renamed Iowa MBA Program. This includes the MBA and PI programs of study.
