| Apply for UHD scholarships | University Housing and Dining has scholarships available for our extraordinary students! Scholarships are now accessible for students who are currently living in the residence halls, students planning to return to live in the residence halls, or currently working within any dining unit—market places, retail, catering, or dining operations. Each scholarship has its own unique criteria. | | | George L. Droll Award | The Droll Award is named in honor of George L. Droll who devoted his career to enhancing the living and learning environment in campus housing and dining. Applicants must plan to live in the residence halls for the 2025-2026 year.
- Amount: Up to $1,500
- Qualifications: Current residence hall student who has demonstrated strong citizenship and has contributed to establishing a positive residence hall community on their floor. Students apply directly for this scholarship, by March 24.
| | | David Coleman Scholarship | This award is granted to a current residence hall student who has overcome adversity to attend college. This adversity can be medical, physical, economic, family circumstance, or other situations the student has had to overcome to attend the university.
- Amount: $1,000
- Qualifications: Current residence hall student who has overcome adversity. Students apply directly for this scholarship, by March 24.
| | | Dining Student Employment Scholarships | This annual award is granted to multiple student employees who work in any campus dining or retail location. Please note: students do not have to live on campus, but they do have to work in dining for UHD.
