Welcome to campus

Tip of the week: Welcome to campus

We are glad you're here. Make this newsletter your resource for all things University Housing and Dining. Each week we will be sending a newsletter letting you know of the top things you need to know.

Here are your top 4 things to know this week:

Get your vaccine

Protect yourself, your roommates, friends, and your family. The University of Iowa is encouraging all Hawkeyes to get their COVID-19 vaccine. Vaccines are readily available and at no charge to you. You can get the vaccine at two locations:

  • Nurse Care Clinic - Simply walk into the nurse care clinic located in the lower level of the IMU. No appointment needed.
  • Westlawn Student Health - Call this clinic at 319-335-8394 if you would like to schedule an appointment in the main clinic. Please note that this clinic requires an appointment. You will first need to call and complete a health screening prior to coming in person. Please do not walk in when you are sick.

Get involved in your hall

There are so many ways to meet new people on campus by attending floor meetings, building-wide events, participate in your Living Learning Community welcome events, and more. We have also included everything you need to know about navigating residence hall life.

Market2Go available on August 25

Market2Go, allows you to take meals to-go from any market place. To get your first container you will visit any market place, tell the cashier you want your container, fill up your container, and take to consume anywhere. Available starting on August 25.
