Spring 2021 Course: Strategies for Veteran Success

IVETS is offering a 2 s.h. course called “Strategies for Veteran Success.” This course is open to Veterans and current service members in their first year at Iowa. For more information about the course, email Matt Miller at matthew-t-miller@uiowa.edu.

Veterans Reading Group

Love to read but tired of reading for class? The UI Classics Department is offering a free 8-week Veterans Reading group in Spring 2021. The group will be reading and discussing Homer’s epic war poem The Odyssey and will be facilitated by Dr. Rosemary Moore (Navy 1991-1996) of the Classics Department and Rosie Hulsey of the Cedar Rapids Veterans Center. Participants receive a free copy of the epic prior to the reading group’s start date. If interested, please contact Dr. Moore at rosemary-moore@uiowa.edu.

Veterans Worksheet

Using education benefits in the spring semester? The Veterans Worksheet must be filled out once each calendar year to provide our team the information necessary to certify you with the VA. If you aren’t sure whether you have an up-to-date worksheet on file, please contact registrar-vets-office@uiowa.edu or 319-384-2626 and follow the prompts to speak with the benefits team.

Printing Services Update

Our offices in 2706 and 3704 UCC are closed until the spring semester begins at the end of January. Printing services are not available during this time. ITS provides information about ITCs and how to print on campus.
