Early Registration Reminder

This message is intended for those registering via MyUI.

Winter 2022 and Spring 2023

Early course registration for the winter 2022 and spring 2023 sessions has been extended to occur over 15 business days. The first two weeks of Early Registration will still take place Nov. 7–18. The additional week of registration will run Nov. 28–Dec. 2, after fall break.

Early Registration continues to be based on overall semester hours earned; however, day and time assignments may be later than in previous sessions because the of new Early Registration extended timeframe.

You can now locate your Early Registration day and time assignment on the home page after logging into MyUI.

Early Registration Checklist

  • Review winter 2022 and spring 2023 courses offered in MyUI. Course sections are subject to change, be sure to check for any course changes closer to your registration day and time.
    • The MyUI default session has changed to spring 2023. Fall 2022 or winter 2022 offerings can be found by changing your MyUI default session accordingly.
    • Consider using registration tools like Sample PlansMyPlan, and Schedule Builder to help you plan for your registration.
  • If applicable, contact your academic advisor for authorization.
  • If you are missing prerequisites for a course, fill out the Prerequisite Permission to Enroll form through MyUI.
  • If a course requires special permission, please contact the course department to either obtain permission or get a special permission code.
  • Prior to registering at your assigned day and time, resolve any registration holds. The Office of the Registrar does not remove holds or restrictions and cannot make exceptions to your assigned registration day and time.
  • You will be prompted to sign your Billing and Payment Student Agreement when signing into MyUI. This must be signed prior to registration 
  • Check your current U-Bill to ensure it is not past due.
  • After completing registration, review your schedule and make any adjustments via your registration page in MyUI.

We encourage you to review registration-related information as well as other information posted on the Office of the Registrar website. Please take time to review your Anticipated Graduation Date (AGD) in MyUI for financial aid and enrollment reporting purposes. If the correct session is not displayed, use the drop-down box to select and save the appropriate semester.
