Winter Grades Deadline

This message is intended for MAUI users with the following roles, instructor, department executive officer (DEO), or academic department administrator (ADA). Please disregard this message if you have not been instructed by your primary instructor, course supervisor, or department to submit grades or approve grades.

Winter 2022 final grade processing will occur Thursday, Jan. 19 at 5 p.m. for all off-cycle courses ending on or before Jan. 9, and full session-length courses. Instructors, please submit your grades for DEO review and approval by Wednesday, Jan. 18. Final grade lists that are not in "Approved" status by the deadline will have "O" grades assigned.

Timeline

Friday, Dec. 30 

• Grade processing is paused.  

• Final grade lists are open for editing (full session-length courses).  

Wednesday, Jan. 18  

• Deadline for instructors teaching full session-length courses to submit grades (step-by-step guide) for DEO review. 

Thursday, Jan. 19 

• 5 p.m. - DEO (department executive officer) workflow review and approval deadline.  

• 5 p.m. - Final grades and end of session processing.  

Friday, Jan. 20 

• The following updates to official records: 

  • Grades 

  • Grade-point averages (GPAs) 

Off-Cycle Course Deadlines  

• Lists are open for entry and submission 14 calendar days prior to the course end date listed in MAUI. 

• Lists close 10 calendar days from the course end date listed in MAUI.  

• View my grade deadlines (instructors) 

• View my academic unit deadlines (DEOs and instructor delegates)
