The Fall 2020 session at the University of Iowa begins Monday, August 24, 2020. You are receiving this email because you are a faculty or staff member with a MAUI role. Please keep in mind the following items about the Fall 2020 session.

Important Reminders

• Remember to check electronic Class Lists on MAUI and ICON. Class Lists are dynamic and may change throughout the session depending on selected options that students can choose through MyUI.
• The Office of the Registrar publishes all email messages to Students and Faculty & Staff on our website.
• For a full listing of important dates by session, please refer to the Academic Calendar.
• For course-specific deadlines, please refer to the Course Deadlines page.
• Please remember, based on your role, you may be responsible for submitting or approving attendance, midterm, and final grades. Please be alert for reminder messages over the course of the semester.
• If a registration change (drop, add, section, or hours change) is not possible in MyUI, students may follow the alternate Changes in Registration process available for Fall 2020 due to some courses being virtual and online.
• Students are only permitted to attend classes in which they are registered. In light of the reduced capacity and space, we discourage instructors from offering students to "sit in on sections" during the Fall 2020 semester.
