Welcome Back!

The summer 2022 session at the University of Iowa begins Monday, May 16, 2022. You are receiving this email because you are currently enrolled in at least one summer 2022 course. Check your summer 2022 schedule for updates/ changes to course times and locations. If you are not returning this session, please scroll to the Students Not Returning section of this email for more information on removing your enrollment.

The Summer Academic Calendar is available on the Office of the Registrar's website.

Online Adds/Drops through MyUI

Students can add in MyUI once a course has started. Please visit Changes in Registration for the latest updates, instructions, and permissions needed.

Students who need to section change and hours change should follow those instructions also listed on Changes in Registration.

OR if having issues with any changes on MyUI Please contact the UI Service Center at registrar@uiowa.edu or 319-384-4300 for assistance.

Returning Students

Students can now drop and add courses through MyUI, even when courses have started. Please visit Changes in Registration for the latest updates, instructions, and permissions needed. Please contact the UI Service Center with additional questions.

Students Not Returning

Students not returning to the University for summer 2022 session must drop their entire summer 2022 enrollment before May 16th to prevent being held for tuition and fee assessment. Enrollment may be dropped before the session begins by

Dropping all your summer courses on MyUI by 11:59 pm the night before they begin OR
Emailing a statement with your signature to registrar@uiowa.edu indicating you will not return to the University for the summer session. Your statement must include your name, University ID number, address, and contact information (phone and email) and be received before any of your courses have started.
